Landscaping

So it's a sure sign the Coates family is ready for Fall when we have a WEED that could be mistaken for a small TREE in our back yard. Brad and I have been joking that we should put a circle of rocks around it, and possibly some dirt to "highlight" our little tree. Also notice the lovely wild flowers popping up throughout our backyard. It's our way of landscaping! ;) Brad is always "gunho" when spring comes around to do yard work. He likes to get out and mow and attempt to have the best yard in the neighborhood. Funny, funny. By August, all motivation is GONE! He lets the yard grow "trees" and "wildflowers" and only mows the front lawn so we don't have neighborly complaints. Ha. -In his defense, we have been ridiculously busy and other things have been priority. -These pictures are slightly embarassing, but more funny than anything!Brad decided to step it up a notch after seeing the "tree" pictures, so today he went outside to mow. Noah stood at the sliding glass door wanting to go help daddy. I let him run out and he was in HEAVEN. I could watch those two together all day long. Noah helped by pushing his little bubble lawn mower around, playing in the grass clippings, and helping daddy throw them in the garbage. Noah had so much fun getting dirty and being a BOY! Usually Momma stops him, but he was having way too much fun and I admit, I was having fun watching them and snapping pictures. Brad is convinced that he is TRAINING Noah young, and that he will be able to hand over the "landscaping duties" here within the next few years. ;)

Look at that TOOSH! :) Needless to say a shower followed.

  4. Noah is darling! He is such a big boy. It seems like he was just barely a new baby. Didn't you just have your baby shower?! Time flies.

  6. I love the beautiful flower, but I have to admit we have the same problem. Noah is looking more and more like a toddler in your posts. He is too cute!!!

I was wondering if you were planning, or if you wanted in on planning a baby shower for little boy Irish #2. What do you think? My email is nateandjoanie@gmail.com. Send me an email sometime and let me know if you want in. Hope you and your darling family are doing well!
