Pretty Boy.

Brad has some amazing qualities, he's handsome, dresses well, is the sweetest husband alive, the cutest father, and he even cleans! But well,...doing manly dirty work isn't exactly his 'thing'.

The other night about Midnight we hopped in to bed. We were dozing off to sleep when we heard some of my plastic crafting bags in the corner of our bedroom 'crinkle, crinkle, crinkle'. And then again 'Crinkle, Crinkle, Crinkle!' Both of our eyes popped open and we looked at each other. Again CRINKLE, CRINKLE, CRINKLE! We flipped on the light and both agreed there must be a mouse in the corner!! EWW! {We came to this conclusion because Brad had brought his big mission storage container from the garage in our bedroom to 'reminece' just the day before. I said 'Get it! Catch Him! I'm Staying on the Bed!' After 'pep talking' him for a good 5 minutes, Brad decided he needed protection just in case the mouse attacked him {or something}. So he put on snow pants, shoes, gloves, and a foam bat! HA! He was READY! The 'mouse' wasn't making any sound now, but we just knew he was hiding. Brad wasn't sure how to 'attack' and he was,...well,...a bit nervous...

and because this one is even better,...

After all was said and done, there wasn't even a mouse in the room. It was just some of my craft stuff falling into place in the plastic bags. Good Memory,...Good Footage.

I love you Sissy.

  2. Ha! That's so funny. I can't believe he had to dress up to catch a mouse. Kelly would have gone out in his undies, swishing a broom until he had messed up the whole bedroom. Are you SURE there wasn't a mouse?

  7. That is awesome. You are right, what a great memory. Being scared of a mouse is nothing to be ashamed of. I had one run right under my hand while I was pregnant with Hannah and I about went into labor.

  9. I love it, love it, love it...the only thing that would have gotten a better reaction would have been a roach! Geez, Shell, you all need to come to Georgia to live for just long enough to get some footage of that! A mouse is nothing compared to his reaction with a roach--his sisters will vouch for that!

  11. Brad, I'm not going to call you a sissy to your face--those are some big guns you're packin' nowadays. Is that just from carrying the twins?

  12. I remember when we were kids and there was a flying Palmetto bug at Grandma Coates house. I think we were all crying as Aunt Dianne was determined to get that thing! It was scary!! I'm still traumatized by it!
