Blackfoot

Every TRUE "Blackfootian" has to head home to Blackfoot one time EVERY year for the SouthEastern Idaho State Fair. It truly puts B-town on the map. The ambiance, the thrashiness, the greasy food,...I love it all! :) I must admit, I feel like I am getting ready for flippin' prom when I go though! I know I will INEVITABLY run into 90% of my graduating class. Consiquently I have to make sure I look like a super hot mom! Not like one that has totally "fallen apart" from having twins, can't fit in her old clothes, never has time to shower or brush her teeth, pasty white from lack of sun mom! Nope, that's not me! ;)
{Oh Blackfoot, I love you and hate you all at the same time}.
Highlights of our Fair weekend include the parade {Noah collected enough candy from it that I am pretty sure we have enough candy for a thousand Halloween trick-or-treaters}, the petting zoo, and of course the food!

We love spending time at my parents home! Noah feels especially comfortable (hence potty in front yard).
After our fair weekend we stayed in Blackfoot to celebrate my Mom's 50th Birthday! Toot Toot! She had juror duty ALL DAY {LAME-O! What LUCK!} but we had a surprise 5oth Birthday Party that night celebrating her oldness! ;) {Love you Mom} Hope you had an awesome Birthday Mom. Know that you are my very best friend.
Brad headed back home to Boise to work for 2 days before flying down to Utah to meet up with us for a "Coates Family weekend" {see next post}. Yes, I drove all 3 kids from Blackfoot to SLC alone! ....it was an interesting drive...

I've said it before, but you are Super Mom, especially driving all three down to Utah alone. Next time you are down, give us a call!

  9. It was fine that you posted about my birthday and all, but did you have to tell my age, and show the black cake and decorations? Well, it was pretty fun - and it did make my day special (even if I did have jury duty all day). We love having you and your family!
