6 Years and 3 Knee Surgeries later....

You'd think I had an old man on my hands! While I was engaged to Brad he had reconstructive ACL surgery on his right knee,...when I was pregnant with Noah he had reconstructive ACL surgery on his left knee,...yesterday he had orthoscopic miniscus surgery on his left knee. At this rate I'll be pushing him around in a wheel chair by age 35. ;) Hopefully this does the trick so he can play sports with Noah when the time comes.

Let's just say Brad milks it for ALL it's worth,..either that or he does not withstand pain well. Good thing I am the one carrying these twins! ;) I am so getting him back once they arrive! ;) In the meantime, Brad is enjoying: laying on the sofa, taking ridiculously long naps, eating dairy queen, snuggling up to B, and watching Basketball.

Love you dear,...Get Well Soon! (FOR BOTH OUR SAKES).

  1. I really don't think that men handle pain well at all! You are right, that must be why the women have the babies! I hope this does the trick for him though, that really can't be fun! By the way, I am really wanting to see some photos of you on here...and the belly! But I know how you probably feel about posting them!

  2. Thanks for your encouragement...now I really know how you feel about the overwhelmingness of it all! But I am excited just the same! Stories like your friends are why I can't let go of the idea that there might be more than one! I guess if it happens to you once that thought will always be in the back of your mind every time after! I really want them to take another peek before my 20 week ultrasound...I may have to make a fuss! We are car shopping and it would really make a difference in what we end up getting! I am sure you know the feeling! I hope that you are feeling well...Can you believe that your sweet little girls are almost here! I am so excited for you!

  5. I love how he is snuggling under the fleecy car blanket that I made for Noah, and eating a milkshake. Yep, he is eating up all the attention he can get. Looks like Noah was glad he was home too!
