Showered

Last month my dear friends Jen and Andrea threw me a baby shower for the twins! Jen also threw me a shower for when I was expecting Noah. Talk about above and beyond the call of friendship duty! ;) Thanks Jen,...I love ya!

Anyways it has always been my worst fear that someone will throw me a big party and no one shows. I picture tons of food, balloons everywhere, and pure silence! AHHHH! Fortunately this was not the case. I felt so extremely "showered" with love. It's not about the presents (although those are nice), but just feeling special when all my girlfriends show up to give their love and support, and to have a fun girls night! All the thought and detail that went into the shower made me feel extra extra special: Twin pigs in a blanket (so cute), adorable bite size cupcakes, amazing food, diaper cake, cutest twin tile decor, and even cutesie "dress cut" napkins! Listen to me, I sound like I am a little kid, but seriously I felt like one! Thanks for making my day! :) I was lucky enough to have Kara and my mom there too! Kara was able to use her photography skills and snapped a few pictures of the party. I just got them today (hence the late blog), but they were worth the wait! Thanks for taking and editing these pictures! :)
Thanks to all the girls who made my shower extra special! I'm so lucky to have such great girlfriends here in Boise! All of those matching clothes have sure got me excited about having my twin baby girls! :) I can so do this! ......At least I keep telling myself that!

  12. I just found your blog (not even sure how), but HAD to comment!!

I have twin girls (they will be three in August) and have to say that you CAN do this!! You will love it! Yes, it is a lot of work, but it is definitely worth it. I wouldn't trade it for the world!!

As I look at your posts, it brings back so many memories. Two sweet baby girls in your arms is such a blessing.

I had two older girls that were just barely two and four, so I know you can do it!! I promise! :)

Good luck with everything and hang in there!

    Leslie
